“My Name is Salt” wins the Grand Prix in Poitiers, France, at this year’s 6th edition of “Filmer le Travail”, a festival dedicated to films on labour!
Upon receiving the award Farida Pacha said:
“I feel so proud to receive this prize. I wish to thank the festival team for inviting the film and the jury for awarding it. An award from a festival dedicated to work is especially an honour, not just as a recognition for the film, but more so as a recognition for the hard labour, care and meticulousness with which the protagonists, Sanabhai and his family keep making salt year after year. I’m sure they will be as happy as me to hear this news. Thank you.”
